Where: St. Endellion
When: Oct 5-8 2017
The fifth North Cornwall Book Festival – running from October 5-8 2017 – offers something for everyone from lifewriting, to storytelling, from poetry to folksong, from narrative illustration to spectacular Cornish impressionism, from household names to the big names of the future. And we can’t wait to share it all with you.
As ever we’re urging you to make a day (and an evening!) of your visit, by laying on meals, drinks and evening performances for you to enjoy. This year we’ve a bargain Sunday deal to encourage you further. If you put all the remaining talks for Sunday in your basket, you’ll receive an automatic discount. This gives you all four for £16 instead of £24..
If you’ve enjoyed the festival before, you’ll need no luring back but do please pass the details on to friends and neighbours, to your book club or your colleagues; however wonderful its authors, a book festival is nothing without a magical marquee bursting with readers.
If you weren’t lucky enough to be at last year’s festival, you can still catch a flavour of its delights from Dan Hall’s photographs displayed in our gallery and the feast of podcasts of last year’s talks and readings on our podcast page. Once again we’ll be posting podcasts of this year’s talks as they happen, along with blogs and drawings by Falmouth University writing and drawing students from Falmouth University, uploaded from the festival site, so that readers who can’t join us in person can at least be with us online.
Where to stay:
