A fantastic 5 bedroom property with a lovely living area overlooking the
valley and sea. Only a 5 minute walk from the bustling harbour of Port Isaac- this
property is in the perfect spot for a great family holiday. Pubs, cafes restaurants
and shops all within close walking distance.
Bay View has recently been acquired by us and as a result has been completely refurbished
inside to provide up to date spacious accommodation with all new decoration and fittings.
The 5 bedrooms consist of 2 double (king size beds) and 3 twins. The 2 doubles and 1 twin are
on the ground floor and the other 2 twins are upstairs with a joint en-suite bathroom with
power shower. Downstairs there is also a large bathroom with separate power shower and
bath, sink and wc.
The house is light and airy and much thought has gone into the interior decoration with
modern furnishings of a very high standard. There is a brand new kitchen at the property
and this leads onto the dining and living area. From the lounge there are huge glass doors
leading out to the terrace making the most of the views and providing an area perfect for
dining and relaxing.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and there is a washing machine
and dryer at the property. We have tried to think of everything you would need to make
your stay as comfortable as possible with a very well equipped kitchen and all the
conveniences necessary for a smooth running holiday.
There is a garden area below the terrace and a barbeque is provided for al fresco dining.
The property has a room downstairs with table football. Bay View is a large property
and there is plenty of room for 2 or more families to spread out with lots of comfortable
space to call ones own.
Outside there is ample parking for up to 4 cars and a garage for storage of surfboards
and sailing equipment.
Port Isaac is a beautiful old harbour with narrow winding streets and interesting
galleries and quaint shops. The harbour has been filmed on many occasions for historical
dramas and recently was used as the setting for the series Doc Martyn. At the centre of
the village is the 'Platt' where you can sit and watch the fishermen land their catch
of crabs and lobsters and while many an hour watching the world go by. Some fabulous
restaurants have recently appeared in Port Isaac and yet the traditional pubs remain
where you can get to know the locals. All within walking distance of Bay View.
Next to Port Isaac is the small but lovely beach of Port Gaverne. The sandy beach when the
tide is out has the most perfect rock pools and caves to explore. The water is crystal
clear and very inviting on a hot summer day.
This is an unspoilt corner of Cornwall with lots to discover. There are numerous coastal
walks on your doorstep and plenty of opportunity to get away from it all. The north coast
provides rugged scenery, fantastic sunsets and wonderful beaches. Not far way (20 mins)
is the popular surfing beach of Polzeath. Also nearby you can find Trebarwith Strand,
another favourite, or pop along to Rock and catch the ferry across to Padstow - only a
10 minute boat ride away. Tintagel a village of history and legends with King Arthurs
Castle is also not far away and Boscastle a charming fishing port provides yet another
day of discovery (only 15 mins by car).
In the season you can book fishing or scenic trips from Port Isaac harbour and there is
horse riding nearby and of course many beautiful Cornish gardens to visit.
We allow 2 dogs only at Bay View (£20 charge per pet)
Cot and highchair can be supplied on request.
Bay View is a no-smoking property.
