A lovely 3 bedroom house with amazing panoramic views of the Gannel Estuary and Crantock surfing beach.
It is perfectly situated in a quiet peaceful location south of Newquay on the Pentire headland and is within a 5 minute walk of Fistral Beach, the UK's, premier surfing destination. The house has waterfront access and you can swim directly from the bottom of the garden when the tide is in.
The lounge is spacious and light with patio doors leading to a decking area revealing fantastic views out over the estuary and across to Crantock beach. The main bedroom also has patio doors leading out to the lovely garden.
Gannel Cottage is in a wonderful location. The house is in a sheltered position on a south facing slope, out of the wind in a "valley" and has been described as having its own microclimate which is slightly warmer than the surrounding area. The pretty garden is over four levels and leads down to the Gannel Estuary. There is a bbq for entertaining 'al fresco' and the garden is stocked with pretty plants and is gated at the end to make it safe for children.
It is a great holiday house. It has wonderful views, access to the water and within walking distance of fantastic surfing and family beaches. There are also plenty of shops and cafes and restaurants to choose from in the surrounding area.
The house was architecturally designed in the 1970's and still retains the charm of the era. There are 3 bedrooms: one large twin bedroom upstairs, and a large twin room and a double bedroom with patio doors to the outside downstairs. The property has 2 bathrooms, both with showers, and one with a sunken avocado bath. There are 2 WC's.
It is a well equipped property with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. There is a TV with freeview, DVD player and CD radio. The house has gas central heating.
Cot and highchair supplied.
There is parking for 2 cars on the drive.
No dogs and no smoking.
