Old Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroom whitewashed semi-detached cottage only 60 metres from the beach.
The beach of Crackington Haven is an unspoilt cove, flanked by magnificent cliffs, which are a mass of wildflowers in the spring and early summer. If you enjoy shrimping in the rockpools, marvelling at the fascinating geology of the local rock features, playing a game of beach cricket or spending an exhilarating time in the surf, you will love your stay in Crackington. The Heritage coastal footpath runs by the property, with miles of coastal footpath and stunning sea views. Nearby Boscastle offers boat trips and sea fishing. In addition there is pony trekking and also free use of the 2 local tennis courts. A family pub, the Combe Barton, is only 50 meters away and there is a shop on the beach which hires out surf boards and wetsuits and provides lovely coffee, crab sandwiches and ginger icecream.
Crackington Haven is supported by a useful range of local amenities and the village of Wainhouse Corner is three miles away on the A39, with a village shop and garage. The coastal resort of Bude is 12 miles away.

Property Details
Old Cottage's slate porch leads into a small living room with a lovely inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove.
The dining table, benching and chairs are under the window, which looks out across the valley.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine and dryer. Original wooden stairs lead to three bedrooms with original wooden floors: two with two 3' beds and one with a double bed. There is a bathroom with a toilet (although no stand up shower).
Please note the downstairs living area is small and is better suited to 4 adults and 2 children rather than 6 adults.
Storage heating, electricity included.
There is no TV reception, but there is a video/DVD player.
Outside there is a small sunny paved area with an elevated seat looking out to sea. A lovely place to relax and watch the stunning sunsets. A further toilet is accessed from the outside, along with storage areas for beach gear and an outdoor hot shower for washing off sand after trips to the beach.
Use of nearby tennis court is included in the tariff.
Parking for 2 cars is available in the car park 100 yards from the house and there are free permits available in the property for this.
One small dog is welcome but please be aware the house is next to the road and the fence is low.
