Beach Retreat is a lovely home set alongside the dunes with quick and easy access onto the beautiful sandy beach at Mawgan Porth. It’s a great little holiday home in a fabulous position and we’re sure you will want to return time and time again.
Providing a great place to relax in the sun is the patio with outdoor furniture, in addition to this is the balcony off the main bedroom giving you your own private terrace with stunning views to the sea.
Ample seating for five with two comfy sofas in the cheerful lounge along with an electric fire for cooler evenings and a TV & DVD player should you wish to watch your favourite film. Furthermore there is a good selection of books and games for all ages.
A well-equipped kitchen is essential for a relaxing family holiday and this has everything you need including cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and washing machine along with plenty of cookware, crockery, glassware and cutlery. Additionally there is a useful table and chairs for dining inside.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with double bed, lovely views of the bay and beach and also direct access onto the private balcony. Next is the second bedroom with bunk beds and a single bed. Finally there is the family bathroom with a bath tub, overhead shower, basin and toilet.
Mawgan Porth is a particular favourite for families and surfers alike with its large sandy beach fringed by interesting caves and rock pools. From the house it’s just a short stroll to the village for cafes, ice cream stands, pub-restaurant, take-away and a selection of shops selling essentials including the all important bucket & spade!

Nearby Watergate Bay is just two miles south along the Coastal Path – a popular location for action sports and host to Jamie Oliver’s restaurant ‘Fifteen’. Likewise, Bedruthan Steps is a spectacular beach with amazing rock formations and is just along the coast, moreover there is a delightful National Trust cafe offering welcoming refreshments and that all important Cornish Cream Tea.
Additionally, just two miles inland is the pretty village of St Mawgan with its ancient church; tea room and craft shop.
