Hope House is an extremely beautiful, spacious farmhouse set in its own grounds of 18 acres compiling of woodland and lakeside areas of natural beauty with an abundance of wildlife. Fantastic for walks to the lake to watch the sun go down or to enjoy time away from all hustle and bustle to watch swallows dip the water and just relax.
The interior is of a superb standard and allows guests the privilege of plenty of space when holidaying with others and includes a table tennis room for your added enjoyment.
Hope House is child and dog friendly although we ask that young children are supervised outside due to the various waterways around the land and dogs are also accompanied as there are alpacas in some of the paddocks. Two dogs are welcome at the property.
Upstairs there are two kingsize bedrooms, complete with ensuite facilities, and a twin room which doubles as a queen sized bedroom with its own adjacent bathroom. There are also two small beds suitable for under 5s that can be moved into any of the bedrooms.
Downstairs there is a third kingsize bedroom with a sofa and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower.
Two smaller beds, suitable for children up to 4 years old, can be placed in any of the bedrooms.
The large kitchen has plenty of room to dine in and has an AGA that is used during the cooler months and a conventional electric cooker for all other times. There is a separate dining room for more intimate dinners, a utility room and a walk in larder included for your convenience.
There is a large drawing room which has plenty of space for guests to gather and double doors open directly onto the outside terrace to enjoy the spectacular views and outdoor living.
Bed linen and towels are provided at the property with beds made up on arrival for your comfort. All electricity and oil are included in the tariff. A cot and highchair are also provided free of charge should you require them Please note that it is a no smoking house but we do welcome two well behaved dogs at a cost of £25.00 per dog. There is plenty of parking.

Ashwater is a rural parish in north-west Devon, a few miles south east of the ancient market town of Holsworthy and 20 minutes from Launceston which is famous for it’s Norman Castle and nearby prison.
The village has several local amenities including a shop with a post office, church and pub.
Set in rolling green hills of North Devon Ashwater is a short distance from the rugged cliffs of the Hartland Peninsula, the sandy beaches of Bude and nearby Widemouth Bay, also the South West Coastal Path is close by. You can also go fishing and boating on the Tamar and Roadford Lakes. Holsworthy is an ideal central base for visiting Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor. The nearest surfing beach, with lifeguards, is Bude and dogs are welcome in Black Rock beach.
