The Cornish Arms, St Merryn

Jump on your bike and in less than 15 minutes from Primrose Cottage, Arnold Cottage, Puffins, Tamarisk, Little Sandyfield, Treyarnon Suite & Watergate Suite you’ll arrive in the village of St Merryn, home of The Cornish Arms.

Food at The Cornish Arms is based on Rick Stein’s famous recipes. It offers a simple British menu with dishes like real beef burgers, mussels and chips and scampi in the basket. The pub offers some of St Austell Brewery’s best ales like Tribute, Tinners, HSD and Proper Job and a great selection of wines are available by the bottle and glass.

The large beer garden and al-fresco dining area are great for lazy summer evenings after a day on one of the many nearby beaches – and during the winter the pub is the perfect retreat from a wild weather outside, boasting a log fire and cosy bar as well as offering special curry and steak nights and their famous Sunday roasts. Look out for the popular  annual beer and mussel festival in March and for live bands, special events and offers throughout the year.
