Set in 3 acres the cottage has plenty of outdoor space for children to run freely and explore. Gite 1 has its own private patio and dining area and a bbq is provided for your use. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
The Gite consists of 1 x double bed, 2 x single beds. For down-time or quiet evenings, there is English Satellite TV installed, a DVD player.

Only a 4 km from Hambye village with it’s famous 11 Century Abbey and just 6km from Villedieu-les-Poles and its great local market.
A great location for walking, cycling or just relaxing. Located near the village of Hambye, 4km, it is within walking distance of the 11century Hambye Abbey.
The historic town of Villedieu-les-Poêles, famous for its copper and bell foundry, is 6.25km and a market is held in the town every Tuesday. The medieval town of Granville, 25km, has shops, a marina and a historic old town. Beautiful, sandy, quiet beaches are 25km away, and local restaurants and cafés are a 5 minute drive.

Although it is a lovely area to explore guests often stay at the property and spend their days enjoying the tranquil surroundings and the lovely views over the undulating countryside.
Children are welcome to play in the fields around the gite. There is a swimming pool in the local town and guests have often found handy to use in the summer months.
Horse riding is available nearby and it is a popular area for keen cyclists.
The nearest beach is St Martin de Brehal – miles of sandy beach stretch along the coast. Further up the coast in a northerly direction you will find many unspoilt beaches famous for their mussels and oysters. When the tide is out – it goes out for a mile – you can walk out and pick your own mussels from the poles and ropes.
