What we like about this property...

If you want a relaxing seaside holiday, with the beach just a short walk away, then this is the perfect property for you.

It reminded me of the holidays I had as a child, when the sun always seemed to shine, I was always in and out of the sea, climbing across the exposed rocks at low tide, exploring the rock pools, and then walking back to our home for the week, and enjoying eating home cooked food, while the sun slowly set over the sea.

Morlion is located right opposite the beach, with a lovely coffee shop close by, and is the ideal base for families looking for a relaxing holiday by the sea.

Spacious and light beachside holiday home - nice and comfortable but not so smart that you felt unable to relax and "live" in it (important given all the sand that a dog and 2 teenagers brought in each day). Lovely relaxing property.

The Area

What we love about the area...

Morlion, situated within yards of Trevone beach and the spectacular North Cornwall Coast, provides an ideal base for anyone wanting to spend their holiday time surfing, rock pooling, building sand castles or just lazing on the sand – for the more active, miles of coastal footpath is waiting to be explored. Padstow is a short drive away or a fantastically scenic walk along rugged cliffs and the more sheltered Camel Estuary – and having worked up an appetite the working port provides eateries to suit all tastes and pockets.

Padstow has become one of the UK’s premier destinations for foodies, and it’s easy to see why. You have to try Rick Steins Café, with its ever-changing menu of seasonal fish. For a hearty breakfast, why not try Ben’s Crib Box Café or if you fancy somewhere different, Bin Two on the South Quay is the perfect place to watch the world go by, and it’s dog friendly too. If Italian is your cuisine of choice, Embers Wood Fired Pizza in Market Place could be the place to visit. Other restaurants worth trying include Green’s Of Padstow, Rafferty’s Café & Wine Bar and Prawn on the Lawn.

The South West Coastal Path offers over 630 miles of stunning scenery, but you don’t have to walk it all! There are many challenging golf courses within reasonable driving distance too, including Newquay Golf Club, St. Enodoc Golf Club and the courses at Holywell Bay.
