St Enodoc is an outstanding links course set amongst the sand dunes with magnificent sea and Camel Estuary views. Founded in 1890, St Enodoc Golf Club has two outstanding courses to choose from, the Church Course and the Holywell Course. The former course is designed in the James Braid layout and is considered one of the finest link layouts in the West Country. The shorter Holywell course is an ideal course for those wanting slightly less of a challenge but which features some typical links terrain. St Enodoc is ranked 6th in Great Britain and Ireland by Golf World.

The golf club welcomes visitors and has a friendly social clubhouse with two outside sitting areas and an upstairs restaurant with commanding views of the first and eighteenth holes with the sea beyond.

Trevose Golf Club, Constantine Bay, Padstow PL28 8JB

A mile from our Treyarnon Bay beach front properties, Primrose & Arnold Cottage, is Trevose Golf Club. The club is ranked as one of the top links courses in the country. Trevose offers superb golfing amid spectacular coastal scenery. Most holes have sea views of the wild Atlantic Ocean, but beware of the accompanying strong wind which makes this course so challenging. However, the smooth and pure putting surfaces are protected by treacherous pot bunkers and severe rough.

The 18-hole Championship Course is the main feature of Trevose and is set out in two loops of 9 holes with the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. The quieter Headland Course measures a little over 3,000 yards and the course winds its way out to Trevose Head, the greens on the Headland rival the quality of the Championship Course. The Trevose Short Course is a little nine-hole course ideal for beginners, juniors and seasoned golfers wanting to brush up on their short game.

Trevose welcomes visitors every day of the week throughout the year. The spacious, modern Clubhouse boasts breathtaking views over the golf course and out to the Atlantic Ocean.

Merlin Golf Club, Mawgan Porth TR8 4DN

This hilltop, 18-hole golf course overlooks the sea at Mawgan Porth. Designed to be an easy walking course, Merlin offers access to carefully tended greens and fairways on beautiful heathland surrounded by farmers’ fields.

Treloy Golf Club, Newquay TR8 4JN

Treloy is a 9-hole, parkland golf course close to Newquay and Surfside, our luxury home at Porth. Featuring tree-lined fairways and American style putting greens, Treloy is a testing course with a great reputation. There is also a covered 9 bay driving range. The club encourages all golfers and doesn’t require visitors to show a handicap certificate.

Take your pick from three highly regarded golf clubs when you book to stay at Acton Castle, Rosudgeon, near Marazion, Penzance:

West Cornwall Golf Club has to be one of the oldest in Cornwall. This breezy course is challenging for golfers of all abilities and is playable year-round, thanks to the sandy loam. It aims to offer a really comprehensive and traditional golfing experience.

Cape Cornwall Golf Club is situated on the very edge of the Atlantic Ocean and is the first and last 18-hole golf course in Britain!

Mullion Golf Club is England’s most southerly course located on the cliffs of the Cornish Lizard. It is a links style layout played along a clifftop, with some interesting feature holes. The Club boasts that weather never closes it down, temporary greens are unheard of, it is a course for rain or shine.
