Kernow Chocolate Factory & Cafe

Kernow Chocolate factory, visitor centre and cafe is on the doorstep of many of our north coastal cottages – Treyarnon Bay, Mawgan Port, Porth, Padstow, Wadebridge and under an hour from Crackington Haven & Boscastle.

This Artisan quality chocolate is hand-crafted in St Eval, North Cornwall with ethically and sustainably grown cocoa and is available in over 21 delicious flavours! Come and watch it being made, while sipping on a sublime hot chocolate.

After 10 years making chocolate on the family farm, Kernow Chocolates have moved into their new factory, which has been beautifully decorated and kitted out, housing a bigger production area, a café and shop, and most importantly, a viewing window into the production area so visitors can see all the chocolate being handmade by their team of chocolatiers.

The shop sells the full array of chocolate products as well as some factory only exclusives from time to time. Also on sale are rare treats from other artisan confectioners and snack makers…..the dream sweet shop!

Kernow Café serves delectable Italian coffee, a wide selection of speciality teas and their signature, deconstructed hot chocolate (made with Kernow chocolate!). There are sweet treats galore as you would expect with lots of different cakes all baked on site (reduced availability in off-season times). The cafe also serves delicious waffles and churros as well as Kernow’s favourite ice-cream in the world made by their neighbours at Salcombe Dairy.
