Everyone knows that the beaches in Cornwall are some of the best in the world, so we have decided to pick a selection of our favourite beach cafés on some our favourite beaches. You can experience many of these cool destinations from the array of Cornish Seaview Cottages properties on offer.

Simply imagine yourself watching that perfect sunset, grabbing a post surf snack or simply warming your hands with a steaming hot chocolate after coming away from one of these amazing locations.

Tatums, Portscatho

Right at the bottom of Portscatho on the seafront is this laid back wood-fired grill and takeaway taverna that serves dishes to take home or eat in. Seating is on two long communal tables and open to all.

Highlights: The excellent coffee, sublime food and amazing view.

Hidden Hut, Porthcurnick Beach, Portscatho

Little more than a shack hidden away on Porthcurnick Beach, the Hidden Hut’s popularity has grown thanks to the exceptional seasonal food it serves in a magical setting. A great place for a delicious simple lunchtime snack or as a takeaway to be eaten on the beach while you explore the Roseland Peninsula. The seating is outside, so come prepared for all weathers!

Sea Spray Café, Fistral Beach

One of our favourite spots is a cafe called ‘Sea Spray’, mostly because of its gorgeous view. It sits overlooking South Fistral beach and is the perfect place for wave watching and chilling out after a surf! The food is really delicious and they cater for any type of dietary requirements.

Highlights: sit back and enjoy breakfast, lunch (or just a cup of tea) with panoramic views of the beach and sea.

Watering Hole, Perranpoth Beach (5 mins from Newquay)

Live the Dream at the UK’s only bar on the beach! This venue is surrounded by a three-mile stretch of sand and offers good food, live music and a wide selection of drinks.

Highlights: The amazing location, good food and relaxed atmosphere.

Make your way down the infamous 133 steps and you’ll be greeted by the Bar & Restaurant at Lusty Glaze Beach. An awesome beach spot for lazy lunches, cosy coffees and seaside suppers.

Watergate Bay is flanked by so many of our properties, make it a-go-to spot!

The Beach Hut, Watergate Bay

One of Cornwall’s most famous beach side restaurants. The Beach Hut blends stunning beach views, with delicious food and relaxed atmosphere, making it an idyllic spot anytime of the day. Watergate Bay is one of the stand out beaches to visit while visiting the North Cornwall coast.

Catch, Mawgan Porth

Drop your surfboard at the door and chill on the Catch terrace with a coffee or cold beer, or grab a table for a freshly cooked seafood feast and admire the most wonderful coastal views. This beach-house bar and grill is a family favourite from sun-up to sundown.

Trevone Beach Café, Trevone

The perfect destination in which to escape from the world! With spectacular sea views and sunsets to enjoy, this relaxed and friendly beachside café is the perfect spot to unwind whilst basking on the deck!

Highlights: unforgettable location, delicious wood fired pizzas.

Surfside Café & Bar, On the Beach, Polzeath

This laid-back café is located right on the sand on the popular family, surfing beach of Polzeath. The Surfside steak bun, lobster roll or homemade macaroni cheese are a must to be enjoyed, whilst sipping a cold beer overlooking the beach and Pentire headland.

Highlights: The delicious food, rum bar with a beach shack vibe, live music, BBQ nights.

Widemouth Bay Café is definitely the spot for loaded hot chocolates, tasty pasties and a good cup of coffee. Located in the middle-to-northern-end of the beach it has the best surfing vantage point.

Highlights: Watch the surf roll in, open all year.
