Stunning period beamed cottage, situated in a quiet cu-de-sac, just a short walk from the St Mawes harbour.

Westover was originally two historic cottages which have been converted into a single larger character cottage providing comfortable accommodation for six people in three bedrooms. There are glimpses of the sea, and a view of the church from the first floor bedrooms.

The Accommodation

The property is entered through a slate floored porch with coat hooks and under bench boot storage. This continues into the lovely slate floor hall which then leads to the lounge. This welcoming room has exposed ceiling beams, comfortably furnished with a large L-shaped sofa that wll seat up to seven guests. The lounge has the main TV, with DVD, video, music centre and record player.

Stairs from the hall lead to the first floor with the larger master bedroom having a 5 ft bed, the second bedroom with set as a twin room, both of which have sea views. The family bathroom has an over bath shower, WC, and wash hand basin. The second set of stairs lead to the en-suite twin room, with shower, WC, and wash hand basin. There are some sea views from this room.

The slated floored kitchen/diner is well equipped with a range of modern units, double electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, and freezer.

The beamed ground floor sitting room seats six persons in comfort and has TV, video, a gas fire, and a call barred telephone.

Wifi is available at the property.

The second set of stairs lead to the en-suite twin room, with shower, WC, and wash and basin. There are minor sea views from this room.

The utility room to the rear of the cottage houses the washing machine, and has space to store beach and sunbathing equipment.

Westover is heated by a combination of gas fires and night storage heaters to give cosy comfort at all times of the year.

The Area

St Mawes in Cornwall, is a small fishing village located at the end of the Roseland peninsula, Cornwall.
