St Michael’s Mount opens for the 2017 season on Sunday 19 March.

St Michael’s Mount castle, shops and cafes are open on Sunday to Friday (Closed Saturday). All visits are dependent on weather and sea conditions.

At low tide access to the island is via the causeway. Setting out from Marazion Beach, it take just minutes to walk across the ancient cobbled causeway that stretches from teh mainland to the island. For details on crossing via the causeway visit our Causeway Opening Times

At high tide during spring, summer, and autumn, frequent motorboats leave from landing points along the shore at Marazion for the Mount’s ancient harbour. One way fares are £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for children. This cost is applicable to National Trust members as well as non-National Trust members. Go to By Boat for further detail.

The St Michael’s Mount Garden will open for the 2017 season on Monday 17 April. Opening days and times are limited to conserve and protect the dry stone terraces and narrow grass paths from too much wear and tear and erosion. The garden is planted to be enjoyed from the castle’s south terrace, as well as from within. Please note that we do not open on Saturdays. 

Last entrance to the castle is 45 minutes BEFORE castle closing time.
