What we like about this property...

Surfside has the most amazing sea views which are best enjoyed while sipping your favorite tipple on the large elevated patio! Surfside is all about enjoying the beach and cliff top walks, and coming home, washing the sand out of your hair and visiting one of the many local pubs or restaurants.

Just returned from a lovely family holiday in Porth. Stayed at Surfside Glendorgal. House was very spacious and comfortable and clean. Fantastic position with spectacular views.

Lovely sea views great size accommodation and facilities, very clean and had everything we needed for our holiday to be lovely. Only 15min walk into Newquay centre. We had a fab time and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. 9 of us stayed for a week and the house was just perfect for a large group, enough seating in the lounge and kitchen, beds really comfortable. Some of the reviews said the house needed some TLC which I think has now been sorted as we didn't find any signs of damp and the standard of the house overall was very high. The main highlight of this place is the location every morning you can watch the sunrise from the balcony, it's a few minutes walk down to Porth beach where some of our party did a morning swim, it's a 5 minute walk to Lusty Glaze beach which is absolutely stunning and where you can also surf and there is a cliff a few minutes walk away where you can watch the sunset. We all came back feeling super refreshed after our stay here. Great communication from the host, who also left us a welcome back of scone, cornish cream and jam. We want to make this our annual holiday home as we just had the best time!

The Area

What we love about the area...

Porth’s long sandy beach is perfect for families, with acres of space for children to play and build sandcastles. When the tide drops it reveals an abundance of rock pools full of amazing sea life and ideal for some pond dipping. RNLI Lifeguards are on duty between 10am and 6pm throughout the summer months.

Beach front cafes, a good pub, surf school and delightful beach shop add to this popular village.

Coastal walking is very popular with paths running east to Watergate Bay and west to Lusty Glaze and Newquay town centre. For keen golfers there are 6 courses within 6 miles!

Porth Island, to the east of the beach and accessed by a narrow footbridge, is a spectacular spot for photography and storm watching in the winter. At the end of the island is a blow hole, visible at mid tide, especially on windy days.
